Attorney Sharon R. McLoughlinSharon R. McLoughlin is a partner with Solimene & Secondo, LLP. She has significant legal experience in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. She has practiced in the State of Connecticut in private practice and as staff counsel for major insurance carriers over the course of her twenty-year career. She is knowledgeable in all areas of workers’ compensation matters, having successfully litigated claims ranging from accidental and repetitive orthopedic to complex occupational disease matters.

Attorney McLoughlin understands the importance of approaching each workers’ compensation matter aggressively with an eye towards detail to position the matter for the best possible outcome, whether through litigation or resolution. She further appreciates the importance of working closely with our clients as she handles the variety of legal issues that arise in complex workers’ compensation matters.

Attorney McLoughlin was born in White Plains, New York. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health in 1985 and from the Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1991. She attributes part of her success in defending workers’ compensation matters to her undergraduate education and training in the medical field in both trauma and community hospitals.
