Attorney Jacqueline Cushing joined Solimene & Secondo, LLP in 2024 as an associate. Her practice focuses primarily in the area of workers’ compensation insurance defense.
Attorney Cushing received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2024 with a Certificate in Intellectual Property. During law school, she clerked for the Commercial Law Development Program in the US Department of Commerce, interned in the litigation department of the City of Waterbury Office of the Corporation Counsel, and served as a Student Attorney in both the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic and the Child Advocacy Clinic. She placed first in the Business Law Negotiation Competition, represented UConn in the TNC International Negotiation Competition, and received two “CALI Excellence for the Future Awards.”
Prior to attending law school, Attorney Cushing worked in the fashion and home textile design industries. She attended the Rhode Island School of Design, where she majored in Fashion Design, earned a History of Art and Visual Culture Concentration Certificate, and was a RISD Museum Fellow.
Attorney Cushing is currently admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut.
