Attorney Craig T. AbbottCraig Abbott is a partner with Solimene & Secondo, LLP and concentrates in the defense of workers’ compensation and general liability claims. He has extensive experience with formal hearings, jury trials and appellate cases in the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation System as well in the Connecticut State and Federal Courts.

Attorney Abbott is an aggressive litigator who approaches his cases in the most cost effective manner for his clients. Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Abbott managed Staff Counsel offices for two major insurance carriers in Connecticut focusing in workers’ compensation, general liability, premises liability, product liability, errors and omissions, and subrogation.

Attorney Abbott was born and raised in Syracuse, NY and was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2004. He currently resides in West Hartford with his wife and four children. Attorney Abbott has presented seminars and Continuing Education courses on various workers’ compensation and litigation topics to clients in the insurance industry and third party administrators. For the past several years Attorney Abbott has been on the editorial board of the Workers’ Compensation Quarterly.

Attorney Abbott is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts and the United States District Court.
