Attorney Antkowiak has spent the majority of his career representing defendants including individuals and corporations. His primary areas of practice include the defense of products liability cases, construction site accidents, architect and engineer professional liability claims, and premises liability. His experience includes the defense of large, complex, multi-party cases involving death and catastrophic injuries, and property damage. Attorney Antkowiak has successfully represented clients in jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations, mediations, appellate courts and professional disciplinary boards.
Attorney Antkowiak is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts in Connecticut and Massachusetts, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court, the Gaming Disputes Court of the Mohegan Tribe, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney Antkowiak grew up in New Hampshire and graduated from the University of Vermont in 1986 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1990. Attorney Antkowiak also worked as a nuclear engineer for the US Navy at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, NH, and as an engineer in the missile systems division of Raytheon in Andover, MA before entering law school.
